HIBERNATION! That's where I've been for the last month.
Forgive me-
I have decided to make this post an update sort of.
For the last month I have worked more then ever. I have a million different jobs. I like to keep busy and the only way I can do that is with two jobs and two big hobbies on the side. I might need to make some room for blogging so I can keep up.
I am in the process of looking for a new bartending job. I love where I work right now but as always there's certain obstacles which I can't seem to ignore. I work at Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo, Brooklyn. It's a wonderful job. Every Saturday they have burlesque / cabaret shows and it's just a whole lot of fun. I have fun working, I must say.
I also have been getting more and more requests to do makeup for different occasions. I'm glad seeing as I have no formal training. I am thinking about posting some of my makeup looks and doing Face of the Day posts.
I also have kept up with my photography - not so much my editing. I have so many photos to edit. I will get to it soon.
Also in the past month I have moved into a new apartment! YAY! I left the best news for last. Yes that was what took up most of my month but I'm so happy with the outcome. I am going to dedicate an area in the apartment for photoshoots. I will now have access anytime to a studio setting. This is awesome!
I will end this post with saying how EXCITED I am for a New Year! I never really look at January 1st as a "fresh start" or anything like that but this year it seems a little more special than previous years. I am finally in my own apartment and I can finally create studio type photos without have to travel to a studio. I have finally created my website and business cards all in the last month! I am ready to take on January 1st as a fully functional one woman business and also continue to work two jobs to maintain my apartment and hobbies. ^_^
